Most young people do not use alcohol or illicit drugs. Families have a strong influence on preventing their children experimenting with substance misuse.
Though you have always and will always be able to speak to us directly for help and information, this website is being evolved to provide a convenient and accessible way for you to stay informed.
We understand how important it is to know what to say and do to help your child understand the risks associated with drugs and alcohol; so we are here to work with you, and alongside your child's school, who will assist this process via formal and informal education, to provide your child with the sound guidance needed to prepare them for making the right choices for their future.
It is worth knowing that Care for the Family hold regular sessions on how to drug proof your kids. If you would like more information, or to apply, contact Carolyn Shipstone on 491043 or email Carolyn at carolyn.shipstone@cff.org.uk.
How well do you know your kids? Find out by trying their online questionnaire.
