The contact person for drug and alcohol issues is Orla O'Donoghue the Department of Education's Drug and Alcohol Liaison Office.

Orla has worked in the addiction arena for more than 20 years, both as a Counsellor and Education Officer. She has worked with the Western Australian Drug and Alcohol Authority as the Blood Borne Virus Co-ordinator for injecting drug users and also with the Detoxification units at the Warneford Hospital, Oxford and Darwin Hospital, Australia. For the last four year Orla has been employed as the Department of Education's Drug and Alcohol Liaison Officer and works closely with meeting the aims of the Chief Minister's Drug and Alcohol Strategy.
